Have you been waiting for another recipe post? Well I’m happy to announce that I have something even juicier! If you’ve been following my posts on Instagram, you will notice that I have been raving about juicing lately.
I bought my first juicer in 2012 after a trip to Nigeria because my mum worried about my health. She made sure I give new life to my body by juicing with a variety of vegetables. We would often joke that she could juice anything from: onions to mushrooms, all in the name of being in good health.
After my holiday, I returned with my Mum’s copy of the “Hallelujah Diet” feeling cleansed, refreshed, brand new and ready to continue with my diet upgrade. I wasn’t prepared to mess things up so I began on my juicing quest and met the Juice Master, Jason Vale.
Reminiscing about the Scent leaf Juice my mum forced on us as kids, I believe juicing existed as a remedy for different ailments and general well-being. However, in Jason’s book “Keeping It Simple“, he makes juicing new, cool and fun.
I will recommend this book because there is a juice recipe for everything. There are recipes for great skin, hair and nails; hangover cure; post workout and many health challenges – he also has fun recipes for kids. It encourages you to understand the power of intentional nutrition by giving your body what it demands and deserves.
Juice Master Fan Club
With Jason and me still going strong, a few sisters and I have formed our little fan club which kicks off this month. Our objectives are; well-being, weight loss, better nutrition and health improvement, which are all incredible benefits of juicing.
